Ketebe Publishing is thrilled to collaborate with Palestine House for a heartwarming event dedicated to Palestinian children’s literature, set for Sunday, 23rd February 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This gathering will not only celebrate literary art but also engage participants in creative expression, rooted in the rich traditions of Palestinian culture.
🔹 Part One: Storytelling Session with Muna El Zeet
We are excited to feature Muna El Zeet, who will lead a storytelling session based on Your Friend from Palestine by Nabila Adani. This session invites children and families to step into the life of Khalid, a young boy whose stories of hope and resilience illuminate the power of cultural narratives. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage with the tales that shape Palestinian identity and foster a deeper understanding among all ages.
🔹 Part Two: Tatreez Workshop
Following the storytelling session, participants will experience the art of Tatreez, the traditional Palestinian embroidery that has carried stories and cultural identity across generations. Led by Muna El Zeet, founder of Tatreez Revival, this hands-on workshop will introduce children and families to the techniques and meanings behind these intricate patterns.
